We are thrilled to share an exciting community initiative that took place recently in our local area. Kiwi Property Group, the Owners/Managers of LynnMall, demonstrated their commitment to giving back by participating in volunteering focused on ecological restoration. The company recognised the importance of environmental stewardship and took the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our community.
Kiwi Property Group makes a tangible difference to the Blockhouse Bay Butterfly Gardens
On the sunny morning of April 5, 2023, a group of enthusiastic Kiwi Property employees gathered at the Blockhouse Bay Reserve to lend a helping hand at the Blockhouse Bay Butterfly Gardens. This beautiful sanctuary is a project led by the Moths and Butterflies of NZ Trust, whose mission is to ensure that Aotearoa New Zealand's ecosystems support thriving moth and butterfly populations..
The Kiwi Property team rolled up their sleeves and dedicated their time to tidying up the newly developed section of the Butterfly Garden. This expansion, expertly designed by Jacqui Knight, adds to the existing garden and features a delightful array of New Zealand native plants. These plants serve as a vital food source for a diverse range of moths and butterflies, contributing to the preservation of our local ecosystem.
With their enthusiasm and hard work, the Kiwi Property Group made a tangible difference to the Blockhouse Bay Butterfly Gardens. They cleared away debris, weeded the area, and helped create a nurturing environment for these delicate creatures. Their dedication and passion for ecological restoration are commendable, setting a fantastic example for other local businesses.
At The Whau River Catchment Trust, we believe that collaboration between businesses and community organizations is essential to achieve lasting environmental change. We are incredibly grateful to Kiwi Property Group for their active involvement and commitment to making a positive impact in our community. Their contribution not only helps beautify our local surroundings but also supports the conservation of our native flora and fauna.
